This week
The week through 23 August showed a slight recovery to about 5 transits per day under the US-escorted corridor. That fragile gain is unlikely to hold: after Iran blacklisted 45 tankers on the 24th, daily counts collapsed again, with one day seeing just two vessels. Next week's data will show the damage.
